The Game of Proof

The Game of Proof

We spend so much energy trying to prove ourselves and others that we are enough. We craft perfect social media posts to prove we're happy. We may work overtime to prove we're ‘worthy’ and valuable employees. We may keep accumulating achievements, possessions, and titles like armour.

Here’s the thing to consider: the game of proof is rigged as the goalposts keep moving. There's always another certification to earn, another milestone to reach, another person to impress. The pursuit of external validation becomes a hamster wheel that keeps spinning faster and faster.

Your truth is about honoring your authentic self. It's your inner knowing when something feels right or wrong for you and trusting yourself more. It's your unique perspective shaped by all of your experiences - your struggles, joys, losses, and learnings.

Your truth is the way you see the world through your own experiences. It's valid because you lived it and you don’t need others to approve of it. not because others approve of it.

When you stop performing your worth, you may find that decisions become clearer because you're not filtering them through wondering what “others will think.” You go back to asking yourself what is authentic and real for you.

Life becomes more peaceful when you're not constantly feeling the heavy burden of having to defend yourself to exist as you are. How can you let something heavy go today?
